[BXXPwg] multiple ANS interleaving...

Hi,

There was a side discussion at the San Diego IETF
regarding the use of ANSs, and someone (I believe it
was Darren) raised the example of multimedia support.

The suggestion was that multiple ANSs could be
interleaved (from different MSGs), thus interleaving
audio and video components and synchronizing the
playout of a file.

The ID (beep-framework) indicates that MSGs must
be processed in the order received, which appears
to preclude interleaving ANS from different MSGs on
the same channel.

That being the case, there appears to be no way
to synchronize playout using ANS. One could use
MSG/RPY pairs alternating audio and video on
a single channel, though, but not multiple ANSs.

If this is not the case, can someone clarify?

Thanks,

Joe
